12/13/2009 - Yling performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No 1, Op 15 with the Eastside Symphony
12/2009 - Yling earned 4.0 GPA from USC and is on the Dean’s Honor Student Roll for the fourth consecutive year.
Summer, 2009 - Yling worked in Washington D.C. as international law intern
Summer, 2008 - Yling traveled to China during the Olympics and visited Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. She taught both business and medical English at the Lida University in Shanghai.
5/28/2008 - Yling receives 4.0 GPA from USC for fourth semester in a row.
5/5/2008 - Yling receives top marks from piano performacne jury at USC Thornton
School of Music playing Mozart, Liszt and Chopin.
8/18/2007 – Two hundred and fifty wedding guests enjoyed Yling’s performance as pianist/accompanist playing hymns, Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring and Pachelbel ‘s Canon in D
10/26/2007 - Yling opened the 2007 Mind Research Institute (http://www.mindresearch.net ) annual fundraiser and awards banquet performing Debussy’s “Gardens in the Rain” (Recent YouTube feedback: ‘I think is the best performance on Youtube!’ Congratulations!!!; ‘Wow!; ‘My Mom was a concert pianist, and I teach now. Your precision is impeccable, touch is refined, and you allow the music to speak for itself through your own imagination and spirit. Keep these pieces "fresh" and let them mature. Summer, 2007 – Yling was accepted and studied at the renowned Aspen Music Festival School. Yling received excellent feedback from world-renowned professors including Jean-David Coen and John Perry.
5/1/2007 – Earned top rating from Piano faculty at second USC jury performance. Performance included Works of Beethoven, Dubsee and Chopin.
4/14/2007 Yling’s performance of Beethoven’s Sonata No. 30, Opus 109 and Chopin’s Ballade #1 in G minor, Opus 23, at a wedding banquet quickly silenced the noisy festive chatter.
12/2006 – Earned top rating from Piano faculty at first USC jury performance. Performance included Rachmaninoff Prelude in G minor Op 23; Scarlatti Sonata in F minor K519 and Schubert Impromptu in E flat major, Op 90 no 2
